OK so I am cooking for the whoel company and they love my tri tip.
I use a rasberry Chipoltla mix and I do a pretty good dry pepper rub any other Ideas???

Never tried tri-tip. Ate it, yes, never cooked it. I like a cilantro-lime-garlic marinade for steaks. Really good with a chimichurri sauce over it: basically fresh cilantro, salt, pepper and fresh garlic in a blender with olive oil. Yummy stuff!

there ya go that could be good if she soaked all night.
Tri tip is a great smoker or even a slow BBQ cut. price is pretty good and if cooked right it is TASTY
