Topic: Rib Eyes

I think a rib eye is about the best piece of beef to make on the grill.  Agree or disagree?

Sure it is.  No brainer!!!  You can't beat the marbling in a good ribeye.

Papi -- I thought of you today when I reviewed my supermarket flyer.  Rib Eyes on sale for $5.99/pound.  I'm heading over there tomorrow!

A rib-eye is absolutely one of the best steaks you can grill up. I love mine bone-in, with a nice bit of fat around the outside. Actually, with the bone left attacthed to this cut, it's a rib steak. A rib-eye tends to be boneless.
Let that fat get crispy and savor the flavor.
Next to a rib-eye, I'll take a Porterhouse, or even a Flat Iron steak, which is very good as well. A little salt, a little pepper, a nice hot fire, and life is good.

I think a big glass of  merlot or cab would complete this story nicely!
