Better with Beer or Wine?
That’s a loaded question depending on which side of the fence you’re on. I can make a strong argument for both…see what you think.
Meat dishes for the most part favor red wines. The high fat content of meat tends to soften the astringent tannins in red wines rendering them silky smooth. On the other hand, some of the sweet and spicy components of barbeque can be a perfect match for some beers that have some ‘sweetness’ to the taste...
Not Just Pie in the Sky
How about pie from the grill? It's easier than what you might think!... Grill it for 45 to 50 minutes until it's baked through and top is browned, and then remove the foil and grill for another 10 minutes.
